Research tells us that healthy family relationships are vital for nurturing spiritual growth during adolescence. We have learned from youth ministry legends like Kenda Dean and Mark DeVries that the best chance for teens to have a life-long faith is to be discipled by their parents and a network of adults. Yet, helping parents and teens connect remains an elusive goal for youth ministers who are typically focused on helping teens. Come explore practical ways to acknowledge, equip and partner with parents to cultivate life-long faith formation. And don’t worry, you don’t have to be a parent or know how to parent in order to help parents and teens grow in their faith together.
